Counter-Strike: Source is a complete remake of Counter-Strike using the Source Game Engine. As in the original, Counter-Strike: Source PC Game pits a team of counter-terrorists against a team of terrorists in a series of rounds. Each round is won either by completing an objective (such as detonating a bomb or rescuing hostages) or by eliminating all members of the enemy team.

Counter-Strike: Source retains its team-based objective-oriented first-person shooter style gameplay. The aim of playing a map is to accomplish a map's objective: defusing the bomb, rescuing all hostages, or killing the entire opposing team. The ultimate goal of the game is to win more rounds than the opposing team. Once players are killed, they do not respawn until the next round, though this depends on which server people play on. This gameplay feature distinguishes Counter-Strike from other first-person shooter games, where players respawn instantly or after a short delay.

Shooting while moving dramatically decreases accuracy, and holding the trigger down to continuously shoot produces severe recoil. The severity of damage induced by weaponry is dependent upon the specific locations of hits, with hits to the head being most lethal and shots which make contact elsewhere causing lesser loss of health.

I have released a small update to CSDM, mainly to make it work with AMX Mod X 1.8.0. The new version (and old) are both available for download on the downloads page. Changelog:
 - Fixed compatibility bug with AMX Mod X 1.8.0 and Linux.
 - Fixed two small potential RTE errors.
 - Fixed admin command having blank access permissions.
 - Merged in a few bug fixes from AMX Mod X Core.
 - Reduced or eliminated potential FreeBSD compatibility problems.
 - Commented spawn editor from being enabled by default.
 - Removed AMD64 build.

08-21-2007: Hotfix and Security Warning

IMPORTANT: Unfortunately, it looks like the spawn editor had a small security issue -- it could be used by non-admins. I apologize for this mistake and recommend either re-downloading the spawn editor (the .zip file in the downloads has been corrected), or disabling it in plugins-csdm.ini. It is now disabled by default in the package.

10-12-2006: CSDM 2.1 Released

After four months of being beta, I'm very pleased to announce CSDM 2.1 as a final stable release for Counter-Strike: Deathmatch. This release fixes all known major problems with spectator glitches, respawning, API inadequacies, and spawn point creation. It also adds many features requested over the past four to six months.

You should completely remove any old CSDM 2.00 installations before installing 2.1. Make sure you save your csdm.cfg files so you can mirror any changes into the new one. Click "Install" or "Documentation" on the left for more information.

Complete 2.1 Changelog:
 -Added "item mode" from CSDM 1.7.
 -Added FFA mode -- and fixed reduced damage, tk messages, and scoring.
 -Added 'n' autoitem to give nightvision goggles.
 -Added 'd' autoitem to give defuse kits to CTs.
 -Added "spawn_wait_time" to csdm.cfg.
 -Re-wrote spawn editor from scratch - now actually works.
 -CSDM now remembers whether a user silenced their gun or not (M4A1, USP).
 -Rewrote, optimized, and improved safety of weapon deletion.
 -Rewrote many internal hooking routines to be more deterministic and faster.
 -Rewrote respawning mechanism to reduce ghosting possibilities.
 -Removed "Engine" dependency - CSDM is now Fakemeta only.
 -Fixed bots not getting defuse kits when auto-enabled.
 -Fixed defuse kits not being removed from the world on death.
 -Fixed various issues when enabling the shield (unsupported).
 -Fixed bots not getting autoarmor/grenades properly.
 -Fixed another spectator spawning glitch.
 -Fixed shields not being deleted if enabled.
 -Fixed being able to say "respawn" in ticket mode while dead.
 -Fixed ghosting bugs.
 -Fixed round ticketing bugs.
 -Fixed various minor bugs.
 -Fixed various API issues (note: CSDM2.1 breaks CSDM2 API).

Battlefield 2 or bf2 is a first-person shooter video game, developed by EA DICE, with contributions by Trauma Studios. This released is a Repack version. The setup was created by "PentaTech's". The latest version is v1.50, which was released on September 1, 2009, and added the content of the Euro Force and Armored Fury booster packs, as well as the Highway Tampa and Operation Blue Pearl maps.

Players fight in a modern battlefield, using modern weapon systems. Battlefield 2 is a first-person shooter with some strategy and role-playing game elements.

The PC Game single-player aspect features missions that involve clashes between U.S. Marines, China and the fictional Middle Eastern Coalition. The multiplayer aspect of the game allows players to organize into squads that come under the leadership of a single commander to promote teamwork. The story takes place in the early 21st century during a fictional world war between various power blocs: China, the European Union, the fictional Middle Eastern Coalition (MEC), Russia and the United States.

Battlefield 2 is a sequel to Battlefield Vietnam, with many changes to the popular gameplay of the original. Many of these new gameplay features were added to the game with teamwork and collaboration in mind. The new game engine includes improved physics, dynamic lighting, and more realistic material penetration.

Battlefield 2 is a multiplayer game played via the Internet or on a local area network. A single-player mode with three difficulty levels is included. Both player modes use the same maps and use Battlefield's conquest game mode. Single-player mode allows 16 computer controlled players while Internet mode allows up to 64 players. Players can choose to play as the United States Marine Corps, the People's Liberation Army, or the "Middle Eastern Coalition". Additional factions are playable through the expansion packs, such as the European Union. Progress in the game is made via promotions which allow additional weapons to be unlocked. By playing the game on ranked servers, players are able to add to their global player statistics. These statistics are used to award promotions and other achievements.
